  • Dr. Hoe is always there when I need her for anything. When our dog was diagnosed with cancer, she was very compassionate and helpful. When it came time to say goodbye, she comforted us and took great care of our dog.

  • Dr. Hoe has taken care of Bobo ever since he came strolling down our street almost four years ago. He went from a stray dog to our family dog. Dr. Hoe has provided excellent care at reasonable rates!

  • We had moved from Pennsylvania and I needed to take my little Boston Terrier, Violet, to the Vet. We walked in and Violet was petrified—Dr. Goodwin immediately recognized her fear and instead of making me pick Violet up to place her on the examination table, she got down on the floor and did the examination from Violet's level—I was amazed and so grateful. Never before had a vet ever done this! Over the years, I have seen that compassion and empathy every time from Dr. Goodwin. She is kind, devoted, knowledgeable and that empathy and compassion shows through in her dealings with her furry patients as well as their humans. Violet and our sweet cat, Brady, love going to see her!

Our Bassett/German Shepherd "Pippy" loves Dr. Hoe. He is a bit old and a little wobbly in the legs, but Dr. Hoe and her staff made him feel at ease while dealing with some really difficult neck pain he was experiencing. What we thought was a big issue Dr. Hoe explained was just a minor one. With some pain relieving medication and some rest Pippy is now all better and back to his normal self playing with our young kids.

If you are in Davidson or Cornelius, Main Street vet is a comfortable and welcoming place to take your animals!

We followed Dr. Goodwin from her previous clinic and have been seeing her for years now. Both she and Dr. Hoe are excellent veterinarians. Both are knowledgeable, skilled and compassionate. You never feel like you are being rushed out so that they can see their next patient. The facility is easy to get to, ample parking and clean. Wonderful staff - Always a great experience there. All my fur babies recommend Dr. Goodwin and Dr. Hoe!

Main Street Veterinary hospital has been a great fit for our family. The office is family friendly and the staff makes us feel right at home. Last year our dog, Layla, tore her ACL. Dr. Goodwin did the repair and took excellent care of Layla. The entire staff kept us well informed through the surgery and her recovery. Main Street Veterinary even sent us pictures of Layla once she was awake from surgery to reassure us she was doing well. It has been over a year now and Layla has demonstrated full recovery. Beyond exceptional care for our dog, Main Street Veterinary Hospital has been a blessing to our family!
