What People Say

One of our clients that lives near Clove Bank Rd called to let us know that a very small dog, possibly a chihuahua mix, has been running around the neighborhood for a few days. Attempts to catch the pup have been unsuccessful. They aren't even able to get close enough to get a picture, however, they do know that the dog has a red collar on and is a tan color. If you know who this dog may belong to please give us a call at 704-765-1115. Thank you! ... See MoreSee Less

  • Dr. Hoe is always there when I need her for anything. When our dog was diagnosed with cancer, she was very compassionate and helpful. When it came time to say goodbye, she comforted us and took great care of our dog.

  • We had moved from Pennsylvania and I needed to take my little Boston Terrier, Violet, to the Vet. We walked in and Violet was petrified—Dr. Goodwin immediately recognized her fear and instead of making me pick Violet up to place her on the examination table, she got down on the floor and did the examination from Violet's level—I was amazed and so grateful. Never before had a vet ever done this! Over the years, I have seen that compassion and empathy every time from Dr. Goodwin. She is kind, devoted, knowledgeable and that empathy and compassion shows through in her dealings with her furry patients as well as their humans. Violet and our sweet cat, Brady, love going to see her!

I initially went to Main Street Vet for a second opinion on an skin issue one of my 3 dogs was having but after that visit and the care my dog received they have become the only place I trust taking my pets to. I have three small dogs and each has been in a couple of times and we have seen all three Doctors and they all are extremely compassionate and caring about the pets they see. They take the time to listen to your concerns and have addressed issues with my dogs that other vets misdiagnosed or didn't seem to care to truly address. I would highly, highly recommend Main Street Vet to anyone! They are world class!

Without a doubt, Main St. is the best Vet I have ever been too! Every member of their staff genuinely cares about each and every client and their owners. They are always available, reply promptly to emails and phone calls, and always call to check up on your pets after a non-routine visit. I highly recommend making the switch to Main St Vet...you'll be glad you did.

Our Bassett/German Shepherd "Pippy" loves Dr. Hoe. He is a bit old and a little wobbly in the legs, but Dr. Hoe and her staff made him feel at ease while dealing with some really difficult neck pain he was experiencing. What we thought was a big issue Dr. Hoe explained was just a minor one. With some pain relieving medication and some rest Pippy is now all better and back to his normal self playing with our young kids.

If you are in Davidson or Cornelius, Main Street vet is a comfortable and welcoming place to take your animals!
